The Lake Arrowhead area is a hiking, biking, and camping bonanza. There are over 50  camps in the area as well as being the base for camping and recreation in the San Bernardino National Forest.  The US Forest Service issues Adventure Pass and Recreational Use Fees.

Seasonal recreation is plentiful in our communities. Water sports are available throughout the summer and early fall, beach clubs are available for swimming and sun bathing. As Lake Arrowhead is a private lake owned by the homeowners of Arrowhead Woods, visitors who are not guests of property owners have very limited use of the lake.

Blue Jay is home of the famous Ice Castle ice skating rink and training center.

Within the communities there is also a private yacht club, private country club with an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts and swimming pool, a sports bar and a four-screen movie theatre.

The Rim of the World Parks and Recreation District sponsors youth and adult sports leagues as well as a variety of other programs. Organized youth sports available in the area include Little League, Pop Warner Football and AYSO. For Seniors, there is a very active Senior Center in the Twin Peaks area.
